Almond Strawberry Angel Cake


2 pints strawberries, rinsed and hulled
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 tablespoons amaretto
Angel food cakes, slices (homemade or store-bought)
Fat-free whipped dessert topping
Chocolate-dipped strawberries for garnish


In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, combine strawberries and sugar. Let simmer slowly for 10 minutes. Stir in cinnamon and amaretto. Remove from heat and serve with slices of angel food cake. Garnish with whole, chocolate-dipped strawberries
